The Man’s Reclusive Nature
KUALA LUMPUR: A man, accused of killing his mother and keeping her body in a freezer for three years, was a mystery to his neighbours in Taman OUG. Known for his solitary lifestyle, the man reportedly never engaged with the community.
Limited Sightings of the Suspect
One neighbour, requesting anonymity, mentioned that in the last two weeks, they had only seen the man, in his 50s, on three occasions. “He always leaves in his car and comes back after a while, probably just to get food,” the neighbour said.
No Engagement with the Community
Several neighbours of the area, some of whom have lived in the vicinity for decades, shared that the man did not socialize. “He doesn’t interact with anyone here,” one said.
The Disappearance of the Elderly Woman
Concerns grew as the 80-year-old mother had not been seen for an extended period. Another neighbour observed that the house was typically in darkness, and speculated that the man may have suffered a stroke. “We assumed he had some health issues,” she explained.
Murder Investigation Launched
The discovery of the elderly woman’s body came on Tuesday when the suspect contacted the police himself. The authorities are treating the case as a murder investigation.
